Vol. 242 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers (Resumed). - Tralee Industrial School.

108.

asked the Minister for Education what plans he has for rehousing the 53 children of the industrial school in Tralee, County Kerry, in view of the proposed sale by the Christian Brothers of the present school and farm attached.

I have not received any notice of the intention of the Christian Brothers to close St. Joseph's Industrial School, Tralee. Under the relevant Act six months notice of such intention is required. Should the notice be received, arrangements will be then made for the transfer of the boys concerned to other schools.
