asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give details of proposals submitted to his Department from 1st April 1969 to date regarding wages and conditions of employment of road and allied workers, including engineers' clerks, in Counties Waterford and Donegal; and his decision in each case.

(2) To apply a service pay scheme to engineers' office assistants with effect from 17th February 1969 as follows:

Proposal sanctioned on 22nd May, 1969.

5/- per week after 5 years service

10/- per week after 10 years service

15/- per week after 15 years service

20/- per week after 20 years service

To apply the approved service pay scheme for engineers' office assistants with effect from 1st July, 1968 instead of 17th February 1969.

Waterford

To increase the wages of road workers by 20/- per week with effect from 1st April, 1969

To implement the national wage agreement for road workers and allied employees as follows:

Increase of 5/- per week from 1st June, 1969.
