Vol. 242 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Dental Service.

6.

asked the Minister for Health if Kerry County Council will have the provision of dentures to necessitous people speeded up as the waiting period appears to be excessive.

The average period for which eligible persons in County Kerry have to wait for dentures is about four months. This is not regarded as excessive; in fact there are dentists who prefer to wait at least six months after extractions before fitting dentures.
