Vol. 242 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Post Office Regrading.

129.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if there is any scheme before his Department for reclassifying or regarding post offices; and, if so, when it will be put into operation.

There is not at present any general scheme before my Department for reclassifying or regarding post offices. The volume and the nature of business carried out at all post offices is kept under review by my Department and the classification or grading of individual offices is varied if this is found to be warranted.
