asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission intend to divide the following estates in South County Galway: (a) the Harney estate, Aughrim, (b) the Callinan estate, Kilconnell, (c) the Tannian estate, Kilconnell, (d) the O'Donnell estate, Kilconnell, (e) the Groden estate, Kilconnell, (f) the Raftery estate, Monaveen, (g) the Kelly estate, Monaveen and (h) the Flanagan estate in Kilconnell.

Proceedings are in progress for compulsory acquisition by the Land Commission of the estates at (a), (b), (g) and (h) but it is not possible at this stage to indicate what the outcome may be. The properties at (c), (d), (e) and (f) have been taken over by the Land Commission and composite resale proposals will be prepared in due course for these and possibly some of the other holdings which are at present the subject of compulsory proceedings.
