asked the Minister for Education if he will arrange that the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee enter into negotiations with Dublin Corporation to acquire a site for a vocational school which will be more central to the town of Tallaght and to the proposed developments at Tallaght than the present site suggested by Dublin County Council; and, if necessary, if he will grant permission.

Discussions in relation to this matter were held between the appropriate corporation officials and representatives of the school authorities involved in the provision of a new school complex at Tallaght. These authorities are satisfied that the site already offered is suitably located from the point of view of proposed developments in the area. I agree with this view.
