Vol. 243 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wicklow School.

84.

asked the Minister for Education why he has now refused to give a grant for the building of a new boys' secondary school in Wicklow town when officers of his Department had agreed to the plans and specifications which were drawn up by the De La Salle Order for this school.

A grant has not been refused in this case. The plans which were submitted did not conform to my Department's area and cost limits. The school authorities were informed accordingly and if and when they furnish revised plans the matter will be further considered.
