Vol. 244 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: No. 10 (Vote 41, Vote 41 — Supplementary — and Vote 26). Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m.

If Questions do not conclude by 5 p.m. is it intended to sit any later?

I do not think so. I suggest that any Deputies who want written answers should have them and any Deputies who want oral answers should have their questions postponed.

In the light of the treatment being meted out to Irish citizens in Nigeria I want to ask the Taoiseach would he consider allocating time next week for a debate so that Deputies may express their opinions on this rather uncalled for action on the part of a friendly country with which we have diplomatic relations?

I shall consider that but I do not think it would be very timely.
