The expenditure from the Vote for Defence in respect of daily and weekly papers and books and magazines for the use of the Minister for Defence during the year ended 31st December, 1969, was £68 17s 6d. The Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence was not provided with newspapers, books or magazines by my Department.
