Vol. 244 No. 8

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal Hotel Training School.

99.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date cost of converting St. Columba's Hospital, Killybegs into a hotel training school; if it is expected that further costs will be involved; and what these are expected to be.

I understand that the estimated cost of reconstructing, the former St. Columba's Hospital, Killybegs, for use as a hotel training school and as a hotel during the summer months is £219,087, exclusive of professional fees. I am informed by the County Donegal Vocational Education Committee that there will be very little further cost.

Could the Minister say how many places for training were provided at a cost of more than £219,000.

It is also used as a hotel.

But the extra cost was to provide places for training.

I am afraid I have not got that information.
