Vol. 244 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

33.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide a telephone kiosk at Rockbrook, Rathfarnham, Dublin.

Provision of kiosks in areas such as Rockbrook where there is no post office is not envisaged under the extended kiosk programme for rural areas.

34.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have a telephone kiosk erected in the Bluebell Corporation Estate, Inchicore, Dublin, in view of the great number of houses in the area and the scarcity of private or public telephones.

The area in question is regarded as adequately served by a kiosk at La Touche Road and a further kiosk is not warranted.

35.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider providing a telephone kiosk at the Square, Ballyheigue, County Kerry.

There is already one telephone kiosk in Ballyheigue and a second kiosk is not considered warranted.
