asked the Minister for External Affairs whether any representations will be made to the British Government in an effort to postpone the next 10 per cent tariff cut due under the Anglo-Irish Trade Agreement.

No such representations are contemplated at the present time.

20.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether any meeting with a British Minister is proposed to review the working effects on the economy of the Anglo-Irish Trade Agreement to date.

At the meeting of Irish and British Ministers to discuss the operation of the Free Trade Area Agreement in London on 19th and 20th February last it was agreed that further ministerial meetings would be arranged as necessary. There is no arrangement for such a meeting at the present time.
