Vol. 246 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 3 and 15; Questions at 2.30 p.m.

How long is it proposed to give to Questions?

I am prepared to meet the wishes of the House in this respect: to confine Questions to the usual hour or to finish out Questions, as the House agrees.

No, I said we will finish them out if there is agreement. Perhaps the Whips could agree between themselves whether to confine them or to finish them?

Of course, if we were to finish them it would take a long time.

There would seem to be nearly two hours in it. Perhaps if the Whips agreed?

Yes, let the Whips agree.

What have we decided about Questions?

That the Whips will meet.

We have a Whip too, you know.

You heard what happened.

We will be getting a Coalition soon.

The Taoiseach speaks so modestly and low we cannot always hear him.

I spoke about the agreement of the House, not the agreement of the Fine Gael Whip.

Do not be so touchy.

We are not, you know.
