Vol. 246 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - External Reserves.

35.

asked the Minister for Finance the total value of Ireland's external reserves for each of the years 1967, 1968 and 1969.

The external monetary reserves amounted to £299 million. £292 million and £297 million on 31st December, 1967, 1968 and 1969, respectively.

Could the Minister say where most of our external reserves are lodged?

That is a separate question.
