asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the unsuitability of the old national school at Cashel, County Tipperary, because of increasing numbers, and if there are any proposals before his Department to build a new one.

It is proposed to erect a new boys school at Cashel in replacement of the existing premises, and the Office of Public Works are in communication with the manager about the site which has been offered.

45.

asked the Minister for Finance when it is proposed to build the new national school at Knockavilla, Dundrum, County Tipperary; and if he is aware of the very bad situation and condition of the old school.

Revised plans, specifications and bills of quantities for this new school will shortly be completed and it is expected that tenders will be invited in about a month.
