Certain defects were discovered in the admission unit buildings and the question of the rectification of these defects has become an issue between the Mayo County Council and the building contractor. Both parties agreed to put the items at issue to arbitration. The arbitration hearings took place last week and the findings of the arbitrator are now awaited.
