Vol. 247 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Drainage.

30.

asked the Minister for Finance if the river going through Ballylongford village, County Kerry, is to be dredged by the Office of Public Works; and, if so, when the work is expected to be carried out.

This river is noted by the Commissioners of Public Works for consideration under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945 but, having regard to present commitments and the extent of the drainage problem generally, it is not possible to say when it is likely to be reached.
