Vol. 247 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Garda Station.

56.

asked the Minister for Justice if in view of the trouble caused by lawless groups in Portrane and Donabate during the tourist season he will arrange to have a temporary Garda station set up there during these months.

The commissioner has informed me that he is satisfied that the police arrangements proposed for the Portrane/Donabate area during the tourist season will ensure an adequate police service. As I have indicated in reply to a previous question, it would not be in the public interest to give the details of the particular arrangements proposed but they do not include the setting up of a temporary station.
