asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state with regard to the following water supply schemes: Knockane-Portlaw minor water supply scheme; extension of Tramore water supply scheme to Crobally; Castlereagh minor water supply scheme; Ballyduff-Ballylemon water extension to new cottage at Kilrush; Ballykinsella minor water supply scheme; Ardmore water supply extension to Sluggera; Ardmore water supply extension to Curragh; Inchinleamy minor water supply scheme; Sheskin minor water supply scheme; Fews minor water supply scheme; Loskeran minor water supply scheme; Ballyogarty minor water supply scheme; Ballydasoon minor water supply scheme; Feddans minor water supply scheme; Aglish sewerage scheme; Bonmahon-Kill sewerage scheme (a) the date it was submitted to his Department by the Waterford County Council; (b) the date sanction was given by the Department; and (c) the causes of delays, if any.

Such delays as have occurred have been largely due to uncertainty about the degree of priority attributed to individual projects by the county council and also to the practice, adopted in the interests of economy and administrative convenience, of grouping appropriate minor schemes so that they can be financed from a single composite loan.
