Vol. 247 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estate.

18.

Mr. Dunne

asked the Minister for lands if he will state with regard to the Bleahan estate at Redwood, Lorrha, Nenagh, County Tipperary, if it is proposed to divide it amongst the local smallholders or if it is being sold by the Irish Land Commission; and, if so, the reason for resale.

Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground, it is not possible to forecast just now what form the allocation plans for this 280 acre property will take. The lands will be used for ordinary land settlement purposes and the claims of all applicants will be thoroughly assessed before the allotment.

Mr. Dunne

Has it been decided how much land will go with the house?

I have no information on that.
