Vol. 247 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Garda Station.

47.

asked the Minister for Justice whether there are any proposals before his Department for the closure of Kilgarvan Garda station, County Kerry; and, if so, if he will state the present position.

I have no proposal from the commissioner that Kilgarvan garda station be closed. As part of the general review which is now in progress, future police arrangements in this locality will be examined by the research and planning unit of the Garda Síochána, but at this stage I can give no indication of the outcome.
