Vol. 247 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Bill, 1970.

33.

andMr. P. Barry asked the Minister for Local Government if he will consider extending the period of operation of the schedule of the Housing Bill, 1970, applicable to sections 15, 16, and 18 of the Housing Act, 1966, in view of the difficulty of laying house foundations as a result of the cement strike.

Amendments to the Housing Bill, 1970, are being drafted to alter the date for the commencement of the new limit of 1,249 square feet for grant houses and flats from 31st August, to 31st December, 1970.
