Committee on Finance. - Horse Industry Bill, 1970: Money Resolution.

I move:—

That it is expedient to authorise such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present session to provide for the setting up of a Board to be known as Bord na gCapall which shall establish a national centre for training in equitation, advise the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, and perform certain other functions, in relation to the breeding, sale and export of horses and associated activities (including participation by national teams in, and the holding in the State of, international equestrian competitions), to provide for the licensing of riding establishments and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid.
