In the two year period ended 1st May, 1970, licences to import 67 new coaches at a reduced rate of duty were issued. I am unable to state the extent to which these were availed of or the makes of coach involved.
It is not the practice to disclose the names and addresses of private persons or firms to whom licences are granted but 60 of the coaches in question were for CIE.
