asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether it is proposed to issue a postage stamp to mark the 50th anniversary of the ex-November, 1920; and, if not, why. November, 1920; and if not, why.

As already announced, it is proposed to issue a special postage stamp on Monday, 2nd November, 1970, to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Kevin Barry.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether it is proposed to issue a stamp in commemoration of the tercentenary of the birth of the composer Turlough O'Carolan.

The programme for issue of special stamps in 1970 was settled a considerable time ago. It does not include a stamp to mark the event mentioned.
