asked the Minister for Local Government if he will give particulars of housing schemes submitted to his Department by Wicklow County Council; the date on which each proposal was received; the stage each is at; and when he expects to be in a position to sanction the proposals.

The following are the particulars requested:—

To accept a tender for the erection of 2 houses at Tinahely.

7th April, 1970

The tender submitted was considered excessive and the housing authority were asked on 27th May, 1970, to review the proposal. The housing authority's revised plans were received on the 20th July, 1970, and are under examination.

To accept a tender for the erection of 20 houses at Greystones.

9th April, 1970.

The tender submitted was considered excessive and the housing authority were asked on 28th May, 1970, to review the proposal. Their further submission is at present awaited.

I will give my decision on the Tinahely proposal at an early date.

There are no such proposals awaiting my sanction.
