asked the Minister for Social Welfare with what countries reciprocal social security arrangements have been made in the matter of payment of old age pensions in respect of insurable employment in those countries by Irish people who have returned to this country on or before retirement; and what negotiations are pending with other countries for such agreements.

Reciprocal arrangements in the matter of old age (contributory) pensions have been made with Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Negotiations are in progress to have these arrangements extended to include the Channel Islands.
