Vol. 249 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Income Differentials.

81.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of regional incomes differentials, by province or other appropriate area, in the years 1958 and 1968 in each of the following countries: member states of the EEC, United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway and Ireland.

Details of regional income differentials for the two years requested by the Deputy are not available in my Department. However, I propose, with your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report a tabular statement setting out such information on regional incomes as is available for years as close as possible to 1958 and 1968. No information is readily available for the United Kingdom, Norway and Denmark.
