asked the Minister for Finance whether devaluation of the £ is under consideration.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question by him on 30th June, 1970. I have nothing to add to that reply beyond repeating that there is no foundation whatever for any expectation of a change in the parity of the Irish pound.

So long as you introduce Supplementary Budgets.

You have devalued it by 33 per cent in the past five years.
