Vol. 249 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork School.

11.

asked the Minister for Education when the building of the new national school at Carrignavar, County Cork, will be proceeded with.

Before the extent of the accommodation to be provided in the new school to be erected at Carrignavar can be determined it will be necessary to make a decision on the question of the amalgamation with it of a one-teacher school in the area. My Department is in communication with the manager of the school in relation to this matter. When a decision on it has been reached the preliminary arrangements connected with the building of the school will proceed in the normal way.
