The issue was for 100 million Deutschemarks. The issue price was 99¼ per cent and the coupon 8½ per cent per annum.
Interest will be paid on the bonds semi-annually in arrears on 1st March and 1st September of each year beginning on 1st March, 1971. The bonds will be redeemed beginning 1st September, 1976, in ten annual instalments of DM 10 million payable on 1st September of each of the years 1976 to 1985 inclusive.
Will the Minister give the reasons why he went abroad to raise this loan?
