A proposal for the reconstruction and extension of Ringsend Vocational School has been received by my Department, and was placed before the Dublin Advisory Council for consideration at a recent meeting. At the request of the representatives of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee, discussion on the proposal was postponed to the next meeting of the council, which will be held early in the New Year.
Does the Parliamentary Secretary expect reasonably early action to be taken on this?
Yes, I expect so. It has been, as I indicated, postponed at the request of the Dublin Vocational Education Committee with a view to taking early action.
