Vol. 252 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Support Scheme.

16.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if it is now intended to make good the deduction from the amount payable under the milk price support scheme to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

Creamery milk suppliers such as the person referred to have been debarred for certain periods from the Exchequer milk price allowances because of the presence of added water in their creamery supplies. It would not, therefore, be appropriate to make good the allowances withheld for periods of debarment.
