asked the Minister for Labour if he will state in respect of each State-sponsored body under the aegis of his Department (a) the number of managerial staff above the level of departmental supervisor; and (b) the number of male and female employees below that level.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.

The statement is as follows:

Note: The figures at (a) and (b) include all staff in each of the bodies, i.e. officers of supervisor status are included under (b) in each instance.

asked the Minister for Labour the annual salary payable as at 1st March, 1971, to the chief executive of each of the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of his Department.

The chief officer of AnCO receives the salary of an Assistant Secretary in the Civil Service and is, in addition, paid a non-pensionable allowance of £750 p.a.

The Executive Director of CERT Ltd. has a salary of £4,680 p.a.
