asked the Minister for Local Government if, having regard to the increasing volume of traffic passing through Kilgarvan village, he will arrange with Kerry County Council to have a speed limit declared for the village.

Speed limits in County Kerry are at present being reviewed. The Deputy's representations have been noted and are being considered in conjunction with this review.

What effect will that have on the review?

All representations are being considered and will be looked at in connection with the review.

That will be a great help.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, when reviewing speed limits for County Wicklow, he will consider applying a speed limit to the Rathdrum area.

The Deputy's representations relating to Rathdrum will be considered when speed limits in County Wicklow are next being reviewed. This review will be undertaken in the course of the next few months.
