I have received the submission mentioned by the Deputy. The Irish Transport and General Workers' Union have been informed that the proposals contained in the submission are being examined in conjunction with other proposals for company law reform and that contact will be made with them when the examination is completed.
The Deputy will appreciate that I am not in a position to comment further on the matter until more progress has been made with examining the complex issues involved.
