asked the Minister for Finance (1) the total amount of grants made available by his Department in connection with the erection of a boat slip at Fenit, County Kerry; (2) the total amount of contributions provided by Kerry County Council; (3) the date on which work commenced on the slip; (4) the number of men employed and (5) when work will be completed.

The work in question commenced on the 22nd March, 1969, and, apart from the provision of a winch, it has been completed. The total cost will be of the order of £15,000 of which the State grant will amount to about £11,250 approximately. The liability of the Kerry County Council amounts to about £3,750 of which £2,650 has already been paid.

The number of men employed varied from three to ten at different stages of the work.

How much of it is completed to date?

It is all completed except for a winch.
