Vol. 254 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Facilities for Dún Laoghaire Trawler Fleet.

27.

asked the Minister for Finance the present position in regard to the provision of toilets, showers, dressing-rooms and other facilities on the quays at Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, for the use of the growing trawler fleet on their return from fishing.

New toilets and wash-hand basins are being provided at the root of Traders' Wharf and work on them will be finished shortly. No proposal is under consideration for the provision of showers or dressingrooms.

Could the Minister say when this work commenced?

I am afraid I have not got that information at the moment.

It is a very long time.

I understand that they are almost completed.
