Vol. 256 No. 8

Written Answer. - Dublin Circuit Court.

47.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware that litigants and their legal advisers are often placed in serious difficulties because of the very short notice of the listing of cases in the legal diary of the Dublin Circuit Court; and what steps are being taken to remedy the matter.

I am not so aware.

However, I am satisfied that the position in regard to notice of the listing of Dublin Circuit Court cases should be improved and I have arranged, with the agreement of the courts, that more diary space will, in future, be reserved for the Circuit Court so that earlier notice of the listing of Circuit Court cases can be given.
