Vol. 257 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - House Rates Remission.

140.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will explain the circumstances in which a new house (details supplied) was assessed for rates prior to its being built or occupied; and if he will indicate how the rights of the purchaser regarding rates remission are protected in this case.

I have no information regarding this case but I would refer the Deputy to the suggestion made by the Minister for Finance in his reply to a similar question by the Deputy about the same case.
