Vol. 257 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: No. 22, Votes 37, 38, 38 Supplementary, 43 and 44, Nos. 3 and 4 to be taken in conjunction with Vote 37, and then No. 23. It is proposed to interrupt business after Questions to take No. 23 and when completed to resume the Order.

Can the Taoiseach say when it is proposed to take the Referendum Bill?

Tomorrow. The intention is to have it all day tomorrow if necessary and that would mean beginning it tomorrow morning. I understand there will be consultations immediately after business has commenced today.

Can the Taoiseach say if he has had a telegram in regard to the Normandy Ferry and, if so, if the Government can honour the word of the Minister——

It does not arise on the Order of Business.

He might as well try to get away with it as anybody else.
