Dr. O'Connell

asked the Minister for Labour what reports were commissioned by his Department and semi-State bodies under the control of his Department in each of the past ten years; what reports were published; the total cost of these reports and in what cases the findings were implemented.

The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of An Leas-Cheann Chomhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.

The statement is as follows:

The recommendation in the main, to measures designed to improve future industrial relations in the undertakings concerned. In the circumstances, responsibility for implementing the recommendations contained in these reports rested primarily on the parties involved.
