Vol. 259 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Visiting Rugby Teams.

42.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline the security arrangements normally provided for visiting international rugby teams.

Security arrangements for particular functions or occasions are determined by the Garda in the light of the circumstances of each individual case.

Would the Minister comment on the alleged justification given by the Scottish Rugby Union for not coming here——

That is a separate question. It has nothing to do with Question No. 42. Would the Deputy please stop talking?

Is the Minister satisfied that security arrangements would be adequate to cater for all likely international fixtures?

Of course they would be.
