asked the Minister for Justice whether Irish citizens who apply to join the British police forces are interviewed for such positions at Garda stations in this country.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Police Applicants.
The answer is "no".
Is the Minister aware of a report that a young man was interviewed for recruitment to the London police at a Garda station in this city and since I, unlike some other Deputies, do not wish to make charges in the Dáil which I would not substantiate outside, if I communicate to him the name of the Garda station in question, will he look into the matter?
