Vol. 261 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Psychiatric Nurses' Pay Increase.

6.

asked the Minister for Health what progress, if any, has been made with the pay increases recommended for senior psychiatric nurses.

A revision of the salaries for senior psychiatric nurses is at present being negotiated by the Local Government Staff Negotiations Board. The latest offer was made by the board on the 14th April and the staff side's further views are at present being considered. I understand another meeting between the two sides is to be arranged for this week.
