Business of Dáil: Motion.

I move:

(1) That notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Standing Orders—

(a) the Dáil shall sit later than 5.30 p.m. today and the hour at which business is to be interrupted shall be 10.30 p.m.; and

(b) the Dáil shall meet at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow and the hour at which business is to be interrupted shall be 5 p.m.; and

(1) That in the debate on the Estimate for the Department of the Taoiseach the following arrangements shall apply:

(a) Members as indicated hereunder shall be called on by the Chair to speak in the debate tomorrow not later than the times specified:—

(i) 2.45 p.m., a Member nominated by the Labour Party,

(ii) 3.30 p.m., a Member nominated by Fine Gael, and

(iii) 4.15 p.m., the Taoiseach to conclude the debate;

(b) the speech of any other Member called on to speak in the debate, apart from the Taoiseach when moving the Estimate, shall not exceed 40 minutes; and

(c) the Order of the Dáil of 4th November, 1969, relating to the taking of divisions, shall not apply.
