asked the Taoiseach the number of staff allocated to the Government Information Bureau; the annual cost of the bureau to the Exchequer; and if there are any proposals on hand for the expansion of the staffing and services of the bureau.

The authorised staff of the Government Information Bureau number 15. Their salaries and incidental expenses in the financial year 1971-72 came to £32,000, approximately. The improvement of the service given by the bureau is constantly under consideration.
