asked the Minister for Health (a) the number of visits abroad by him since 1st September, 1971, and (b) the purpose and total cost of each visit.

I propose with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to circulate with the Official Report details of the four visits abroad by me since 1st September, 1971.

Following is the statement:

(1) Visit to Oxford to address the Oxford Union Debating Society. Cost £41.40.

(2) Visit to USA in connection with St. Patrick's Day celebrations in St. Louis and other centres. Cost £438.52.

(3) Visit to Cambridge in connection with a dinner function at the university. Cost £30.53.

(4) Visit to Yorkshire to address the Pontefract and Leeds Local History Society. Cost £45.70.
