Vol. 263 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry School.

49.

asked the Minister for Finance the present position regarding the new primary school at Killorglin, County Kerry.

Tenders for the erection of this school have been received by the manager's architect and are being examined by him.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary ensure that in the specifications for the new school the doors will be constructed in such a way that handicapped children in wheelchairs can go into the school?

I have given a directive on this matter in general. We brought out some rules which we hope will be adequate to cover this matter.
