Vol. 263 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Quadripartite Talks.

2.

asked the Taoiseach if he has received any intimation from the British Government that the early holding of quadripartite talks was being considered; and if he will continue to press for these talks to be held as soon as possible.

It would not be in accordance with usual practice to reveal details of exchanges between the two Governments on such matters. My views about the necessity for talks between the parties concerned are well known and I will continue to press them.

Can the Taoiseach state if it is his intention to seek a meeting with Mr. Heath during his visit to this island?
